About the position: As a Transmission Planning Engineer, you will be involved in coordinating with our customers and conducting comprehensive studies on the integration of different technologies, including wind, solar, energy storage, data center loads, and large industrial loads. You will utilize advanced tools like Siemens PSSE, DSATools, and PSCAD to model and analyze power system dynamics. Your primary focus will be on developing transmission solutions that ensure NERC Compliance and address steady state and stability violations resulting from system disturbances. These working groups cover a wide range of topics, including inverter-based resources, stability model performance, and distributed energy resources.
