Because we believe that everyone deserves more time to live life to its fullest. The Tissue Recovery Coordinator:
- Leads, coordinates and participates in surgical recovery of tissue.
- Provides day to day staff training and education relating to recovery.
- Reviews and completes donor charts and coordinates recoveries.
- Communicates with donor families, physicians, hospital staff, funeral homes, and external customers such as Organ Procurement Organization and Eye Banks.
- Educates professionals and public about donation.
- Organizes and delivers surveys to hospital staff then comprises and delivers statistics to hospital administration.
- Assists with hospital in-services, health fairs and professional and public education.
- Coordinates the storage, irradiation and return of autologous tissue.

Required
- Bachelor's degree or relevant medical experience required.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of all positions.
- Must be guided by the highest level of integrity and people-centered care.
Work Environment and Physical Activities
- Must be able to meet minimum on-call requirements, including weekends and holidays.
- Overnight travel may be required, including flights on commercial aircraft.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be considered insurable by CBC/CTS insurance provider.
- Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and greater than 50 pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
