Job Skills / Requirements
Per Mar is looking for a Regional Sales Manager for our Electronic Security Sales team.

The ideal candidate for this position can be located anywhere within our footprint in the Upper Midwest region, with travel to most branch offices required on a regular basis.

In this newly created role, you will work closely with the Director of Sales, as well as other sales leaders, to meet and exceed sales and profit goals. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, family-owned company with a strong reputation for excellence. We are looking for someone who is responsible for driving sales growth. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management. Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading sales teams:
    • Overseeing a team of sales leaders, ensuring productivity and effectiveness
    • Meet and exceed sales and profit goals
    • Managing accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting
  • Work with Director of Sales to:
    • Set quarterly and annual sales goals, and sales objectives. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales and profit targets
    • Develop sales strategies: Developing and implementing sales strategies that align with company objectives
  • Maintain budgeted sales staffing levels. Develop bench strength to fill open positions as they happen
  • Analyzing market trends: Analyzing business and sales trends to suggest approaches to meet sales targets. Implement strategies to improve performance
  • Building customer relationships: Maintaining relationships with important clients
  • Collaborate with other departments: Working with other teams such as operations and support staff, ensuring quality sold jobs meeting company profitability expectations
  • Training sales staff: Providing training to increase their individual sales
  • Presenting new products and services: Educating sales teams on new or upcoming products and services
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of successful field sales experience and 3 years of sales management.
  • Proven track record as a sales leader achieving sales quotas and building high-performing teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in sales management tools and software.
  • Ability to travel within the territory.
