  • THE ROLE:

    As a CPU Silicon Design Engineer, you will work with experts in Physical Design for high speed microprocessors and leading CMOS technologies.

    The Role:

    This is an opportunity to join AMD's CPU Core design team focusing Physical Design. This opportunity covers synthesis place and route, timing closure, physical and electrical analysis for blocks over 1 million gates.

    The Person:

    As part of the AMD CPU cores team you will a wide range of techniques to build industry leading microprocessors. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Solid understanding Physical Design or custom circuit design
    • Knowledge of high-speed microprocessor designs and architecture
    • Ability to work independently on complex tasks
    • Knowledge of current sub-micro technologies

    PREFERRED ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree required with emphasis in Electrical Engineering or Computer Systems Engineering
