Assistant or Associate Professor, College of Business

The Opportunity

The College of Business at the University of Central Florida is pleased to invite applications for multiple 9-month positions hiring at the rank of an assistant professor (tenure-earning) or an associate professor (tenured). The selected candidates will participate in business analytics programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Minimum Qualifications:

Assistant Professor:

• A Ph.D. in Accounting/Economics/Finance/Management/Marketing/Sports Business or related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution is required by date of hire.

• Evidence of advanced graduate coursework in econometrics, statistics, or machine learning is essential.

Associate Professor:

• A Ph.D. in Accounting/Economics/Finance/Management/Marketing/Sports Business or related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution is required at the time of application.

• Evidence of advanced graduate coursework in econometrics, statistics, or machine learning is essential.

• To obtain tenure, the selected candidate must have a demonstrated record of teaching, research, and service commensurate with rank in a department/school related to the candidate's area of expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A record of success in teaching business analytics and/or related courses and demonstrated versatility in teaching business analytic applications across different business areas-for example, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Management, Finance, and Sports Business-is preferred.

• Experience applying business analytics through consulting, professional time in business or government, and/or similar meaningful activities is desirable.

• Demonstrated potential to publish original research in Accounting/Economics/Finance/Management/Marketing/Sports Business or related disciplines is also preferred.
