Position Description
Advises individuals and provides guidance services regarding routine to complex issues in assigned area. Work is performed under general supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Shares in responsibility for the operations of the Financial Aid Office.
  • Assist in the monitoring and assuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
  • Responsible for performing the day to day operations of the Financial Aid Office.
  • Counsel students/parents regarding federal, state and private student financial aid (including presenting orientations).
  • Responsible for assisting in the monitoring and updating of Banner with current Information.
  • Review/verify FA applications; determine eligibility for FA programs.
  • Insure accurate and appropriate record keeping as required by federal, state, and institutional regulations.
  • Review and process financial aid cost of attendance budget revisions.
  • Assist in timely processing of Return of Title IV calculations.
  • Assist in outside scholarship processing.
  • Monitor/verify institutional, state, and federal funds within regulations and reconciliations.
  • Assists in prioritizing and allocating workloads for support staff.


Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or progressively responsible related experience to equal six (6) years.
