Accounting Manager (Reporting)
Location: Tinton Falls, NJ
Join Our Dynamic Finance Team!
We're seeking an experienced Accounting Manager (Reporting) to join our innovative and growing finance team. As a key member of our team, you'll oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, and collaborate with multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and external reporting documentation
  • Liaise with external auditors and legal teams to ensure timely submission of filings
  • Prepare cash flow statements and conduct variance analysis for balance sheets and income statements
  • Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and compliance
  • Supervise and develop team members
  • Partner with finance leadership to drive process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, FP&A, Global Commissions, and Tax
  • Design and implement automated workflows using Alteryx
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and manage special projects focused on technology and systems
Required Skills & Competencies:
  • SEC reporting experience (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and disclosure reviews
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Excel, JIRA, Tableau, and Alteryx
  • Familiarity with NetSuite or Oracle Cloud (a plus)
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on process improvements
Qualifications:
  • CPA or similar certification required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including managerial responsibilities
  • Big 4 or equivalent public accounting firm experience (an advantage)
  • Familiarity with capitalized software and commission-related accounting (preferred)
