We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Advertising (PPC) Specialist to join the Descartes team in this newly created position, reflecting our continued growth. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across platforms like Google, Bing, LinkedIn, Meta Ads, and more, with a focus on driving B2B lead generation and maximizing return on ad spend (ROAS). You'll collaborate closely with our product marketing teams, leveraging data-driven insights and experimenting with new channels such as Reddit Ads and programmatic display. Additionally, you will manage multiple ad accounts, provide corporate reporting, and help integrate ad strategies from acquired businesses into Descartes' broader advertising ecosystem. With a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities, you'll thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment, making a significant impact on our digital marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:



  • Work directly with Descartes' product marketing teams to set up, maintain and optimize digital advertising (PPC) campaigns, primarily across Google, Bing, LinkedIn & Meta Ads.
  • Leverage qualitative lead/opportunity data from CRM to aid in decision-making and maximize ROAS
  • Experiment with and strategically incorporate new ad channels/platforms such as Reddit Ads and Programmatic Display
  • Develop and manage a process to "Decartize" ad accounts from acquired businesses and roll into the larger Descartes advertising ecosystem that you are responsible for
  • Provide holistic corporate reporting on a quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis and fulfill ad hoc reporting requests as needed
  • Serve as a subject matter expert by staying on top of the latest trends/happenings in digital advertising



Requirements:




  • 3-5 years' experience managing & optimizing digital advertising campaigns (PPC) focused on B2B lead generation
  • Proficiency with search and social advertising platforms, especially Google Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads & Reddit Ads
  • Bonus Qualifications:
  • Digital marketing agency experience with exposure to 10+ clients' ad accounts
  • Google Ads certifications (current or past)
  • Experience with programmatic display advertising
  • Experience implementing event-based conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager and GA4
  • Experience with Looker Studio and/or a comparable data analytics/visualization tool

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and juggle competing priorities without "dropping the ball"



Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 CAD "Compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills as well as the years of experience you have. Similar positions located in different geographic regions will not necessarily receive the same compensation."
