GCCS-M Systems Support Specialist

Atlas Tech is a rapidly growing veteran-owned IT company serving multiple DoD customers in support of America's warfighters. We are seeking a highly motivated Global Command and Control - Maritime (GCCS-M) Systems Support Specialist to provide Fleet onsite and distance technical assistance and engineering services onboard U.S. Navy surface ships and aircraft carriers. As a GCCS-M Systems Support Specialist:

Payband: $70,000 - $87,000 based on experience

Travel up to 20%

You Will:



  • Provide Fleet Technical Assistance and CASREP support to identify and correct anomalies associated with installation, operation, maintenance, and connectivity problems. This support includes evaluation, troubleshooting, testing, repair and/or technical oversight and guidance to correct equipment or software deficiencies of a non-routine and complex nature. Systems and equipment include, but are not limited to support for the following:

    • AN/USQ-187 GCCS-M 4.1.1
    • AN/USQ-172 GCCS-M 4.0
    • AN/USQ-119 GCCS-M 4.1.5
    • AN/USQ-151 Joint Tactical Terminal (JTT)
    • AN/USQ-188 Radiant Mercury
    • Passive Link Tap (PLT)


  • Provide distance support via phone, e-mail, and chat to deployed and local ships for technical and logistic matters associated with GCCS-M Software/equipment.
  • Provide technical level of corrective maintenance, installation and testing of GCCS-M systems.
  • Provide onboard maintenance training to U.S. Navy personnel during technical assistance visits.


You Have:



  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance
  • A DoD 8140\8570 Certifications to be qualified as an Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II.
  • A minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in the troubleshooting, assessment and repair of the following systems.

    • AN/USQ-187 GCCS-M 4.1.1
    • AN/USQ-172 GCCS-M 4.0
    • AN/USQ-119 GCCS-M 4.1.5




  • Strong experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and presentations.
  • Excellent attention to detail.


We'd be impressed if you have:



  • Experience gained at an In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA), Mobile Technical Unit (MOTU), Fleet Technical Support Center (FTSC), or Regional Maintenance Center (RMC).
