The Department of Applied Psychology at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (
GSAPP) at Rutgers University, New Brunswick is seeking outstanding candidates for a Non-Tenure Track Faculty of Clinical Practice position. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in an area relevant to Applied Psychology (e.g., Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or Applied Behavior Analysis). Additionally, candidates must have extensive expertise in the direct provision of a variety of clinical/mental health related evaluation and ongoing therapeutic services and in the training and supervision of student trainees pursuing psychology licensure. Prior experience in managing the administrative/business functions of providing mental health related services (e.g., budgeting, billing, reconciliation) is highly preferred. The successful candidate will serve as the Director of the Rutgers Center for Adult Autism Services (
RCAAS) - Psychological Services Clinic (
PSC) under the leadership of the
RCAAS Executive Director, and will be expected to develop and maintain active programs of extramurally funded clinical services, mentor students, teach at the graduate level, contribute to clinical training, and participate in other service activities. Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
A doctoral degree
Active New Jersey psychology license to practice psychology and supervise trainees
A minimum of one year experience in conducting evaluation and treatment with autistic and other neurodivergent individuals
Evidence of contributions to research and publications in applied/professional psychology |
Certifications/Licenses |

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
A minimum of one year of teaching graduate level psychology courses;
At least 6 months of experience providing clinical and research supervision of graduate students;
Documented Strong commitment to professional training in psychology. |
