We are looking for a Operations Manager in North American region, as we see the need to further grow the specialty rental business in industrial manufacturing and energy, as well to guide and support the local sales teams in the rental customer centers.

As Operations Manager you will lead actively excellent customer service, developing process improvements that focus on safety, financials, operations, and customer service to achieve targeted goals and objectives. Oversees the operations process towards the transformation journey for excellent customer service in specialty rental for air business. You will report to the VP Steam Operations, and you will contribute for the sustainable, profitable growth in Rental North America.

The mission

Your mission is overseeing operations processes to ensure productivity and quality by identifying areas for optimization and ensuring quality standards are met. Developing long-term plans to support the company's goals and contribute with different teams to foster cross-team learning opportunities. Assessing and analyzing financial aspects to optimize profitability. Identifying potential problems and finding solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue. Communicating with stakeholders about company priorities and projects. Inspiring and motivating employees through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives for improvement processes. Handle customer service, resolve complaints, and collaborate with sales, finance, and marketing teams to maximize revenue and profitability.

What can we expect of you?



  • Develop, implement and train all employees on Powerhouse policies and work procedures. This includes standard operating procedures, job hazard analysis, and safety training.
  • Develop Key performance indicators and metrics to track performance of production. Develop dashboards to communicate performance to the management team.
  • Eliminate inefficiencies wherever they occur. Powerhouse needs to be fast, agile and accurate.
  • Measure the effectiveness of all processes and provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the rental fleet.
  • Manage the operations and maintenance of the rental fleet to ensure highest quality turnarounds, effective reporting, and compliance with CMMS Reporting.
  • Work closely with Service/Project/Shop managers to effectively plan, schedule, and complete all field and shop work.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Plan and schedule project timelines using appropriate tools
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Develop and deliver progress reports and required documentation
  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within Powerhouse.
  • Represent Powerhouse with customers, vendors and business partners.
  • Enforce all company rules and regulations.


Experience requirements.



  • Minimum 3-5 years in Operations, preferable Rental Business.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical) is strongly preferred.
  • Application expertise in air and steam technology is a must.
  • Influence leadership, presentation, and strategic execution skills.
  • You have awareness of local cultures and international business environments.
  • The candidate must have an excellent command of English.
  • Knowledge of the Way We Rent would also be useful.
