Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Houston, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Help develop, support, maintain and test software applications for curve management and market data applications Requirements: Strong development experience using C#.net - server side and GUI Capable of developing multi-threaded services Significant exposure to messaging solutions - Tibco, AMPS or related technology Database development skills, experience with anyone database SQL Server/Oracle/Sybase Strong interpersonal skills and experienced in communicating complex solutions with both technical and Business users Ability to debug applications Able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment Experience in developing server-side applications handling real time data Able to independently design and develop multi-threaded high performance, scalable services with database for persistence Desired skills: Source code management - Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Ansible, SVN Python knowledge Agile Development Commodities Trading or Investment Banking Market Data Able to work as part of a distributed development team Pay Range: $58.26 - $66.26 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
