Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking a Program Management Journeyman to join the Base Maintenance: Integrated Maintenance Data System Central Database (IMDS CDB), Maintenance Scheduling Application Tool (MSAT), Tool Accountability System (TAS). This position supports AFLCMC/GBM at Maxwell Gunter AFB, AL.

Responsibilities:

This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience in

Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of acquisition programs;

Knowledge of support activities that assist the program manager in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines and be able to recommend viable solutions to problems as well as the pursuit of alternative courses of action;

Abilities to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation, e.g., briefings, documents, and plans;

Abilities to plan, research, analyze and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment;

Abilities to formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule and performance objectives;

Abilities to support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports, e.g., Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) or Monthly Activity Report (MAR); Abilities to support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) reviews; and,

Abilities to support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications, five of which must be in the DoD.

Must hold active DoD Security Clearance (Secret)

Preferred Qualifications:

Provides business management support for suspense processing, reporting, management of the Community of Practice, and liaisons. Acts as the liaison for unit personnel actions (Military and Civilian), which includes the Unit Manning Document (UMD), personnel requisition, manning requests, organizational charts, training management and timekeeping functions. Division Program Control personnel task, track, collect, compile, review, edit, consolidate, and forward responses from 45 main system programs and subsystems for approximately 283 unique taskers yearly consisting of incoming and outgoing formal and informal requests for information such as SOCCER tasks, memos, Division tasks, etc. In addition, an average of 6 weekly and 5 monthly recurring execution plans/ reports/briefings/events for all GB4 systems are similarly processed throughout the year.
