Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Parts Sales Variance Analyst.

Position Summary:

At the direction of the Inventory Control Manager, the Parts Sales Variance Analyst will be responsible for managing variance funds stemming from the utilization of Caterpillar Parts Marketing Programs. They will excel in communication, while leveraging multiple computer systems to generate reports and file reimbursement claims. The successful candidate will provide a seamless experience for all involved and ensuring company stability.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Develop, generate, and review accurate daily, monthly, and annual reports as required
  • Utilize software and web-based applications to monitor and take action on: filing, submissions, and rejections of Marketing Program claims
  • Stay informed on updates to existing Marketing Programs
  • Investigate alternative methods to improve Marketing Program processes
  • Work with Caterpillar representatives to resolve claim issue


Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:



  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer, keyboarding, MS Word and Excel
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to multitask
  • Time management and ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Proactive and analytical
  • The ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision
  • Work independently & efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform additional tasks as directed
  • Ability to understand the basic principles of sales variance
  • Ability to learn new software products
  • Responsible to maintain professional behavior consistent with the Mission, Vision and values of Cleveland Brothers


Desired Technical Skills/Experience:



  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • An appropriate combination of education, skills and experience will be considered
  • Strong customer service support experience demonstrating ability to quickly learn to use various computer systems is strongly preferred
