Join our Environmental Services Team at UVM Medical Center! We are currently hiring for Environmental Service Worker II. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Environmental Services Worker II is responsible for the cleaning of all areas of the facility with the exception of the OR. The ESW II knows how to handle cleaning issues or knows the appropriate resources available to solve the specific problem. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION Level II ESW Lifting27 lbs Carrying27 lbs Pushing40 lbs Pulling40 lbs If offered a position, employment is contingent upon passing a physical capacity exam ensuring your ability to meet these requirements. EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Satisfactory completion of Environmental Services Orientation Training Program within three months after hire. Meets the physical demands of the job as evaluated by functional screening. EXPERIENCE: Prior health care or hospitality industry cleaning experience is highly desirable.
