Materials Mixer

Job Summary:

As a Materials Mixer, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by accurately measuring, blending, and preparing raw materials to ensure consistent product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Material Preparation:
  • Accurately weigh and measure raw materials according to specific formulas.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent contamination and degradation.
• Mixing Process:
  • Operate mixing equipment (e.g., blenders, mixers) to blend materials thoroughly and uniformly.
  • Monitor mixing cycles and adjust settings as needed to achieve desired consistency and color.
  • Inspect mixed materials for quality, color accuracy, and consistency.
• Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues with material quality or mixing process.
  • Document mixing records, including batch numbers, material quantities, and process parameters.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of mixing equipment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow proper handling procedures for hazardous materials.
  • Participate in safety training and awareness programs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in materials mixing or related field preferred but not necessary!
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
