Your Role

Are you a seasoned Project Manager looking for a new challenge where you can make a real impact? We're seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented individual to join our team and ensure the success of key projects. In this role, you'll take ownership of customer satisfaction, guide teams toward growth, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. As part of the Program Management team, you will report to the Program Manager and work closely with other Project Managers, Engineering, and Manufacturing. This is a hybrid position located in Voorheesville, NY.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

Customer Satisfaction



  • Take ownership of customer satisfaction, working closely with the Commissioning Manager during the project commissioning phase.
  • Establish and maintain seamless communication with customers to ensure smooth processes.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with both customers and internal teams to identify and address potential adjustments.
  • Manage commercial negotiations, ensuring a balance between productivity, collaboration, and profitability.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and strike a balance between business needs and technical constraints.
  • Lead project execution from point of sale to contractual shipment.



Project Management - Support & Leadership



  • Share and apply foundational principles of Project Management.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to support team development.
  • Remove roadblocks, identify trends, and take action to improve team efficiency.
  • Foster growth in communication, influencing without authority, and collaboration skills within the team.



Project Success



  • Ensure that projects remain profitable and on track for timely completion.
  • Manage scope changes and customer requests through effective change order processes.
  • Close feedback loops swiftly when budget-to-actual deviations occur, ensuring lessons are learned and applied.



Additional Responsibilities:



  • Be available for after-hours support as needed.
  • Travel to address immediate customer needs or for proactive feedback visits.
  • Work closely with the Commissioning group to elicit feedback and proactively improve project execution.




To succeed, you will need

Qualifications:



  • At least 5 years of Project Management experience or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of prior experience supervising and managing staff.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including MS-Project.
  • BS degree or equivalent work experience (technical or business degree preferred).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
