Job Description
At CHA, we are champions for children's health. In collaboration with children's hospitals and health systems across the nation, our teams work to advance child health through driving innovation in the quality, cost, and delivery of care. CHA represents more than 200 members as the unified voice of children's hospitals, setting the standard for the highest quality pediatric care. The Health Information Specialist will report to the Manager of Data Submission & Data Quality and work a hybrid schedule from our Lenexa, KS office. This individual will play a vital role in facilitating timely and accurate hospital data submissions to our comparative database. In collaboration with member hospitals, the Health Information Specialist will advance the comparability of clinical data by establishing data quality standards, working with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and create solutions for improvement, and supporting the use of health care terminologies such as ICD-10 and CPT codes.
