  • Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's Level II Trauma and tertiary care center and home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group and Portneuf Air Rescue.

Responsibilities

  • Collect Pertinent Data & Document Procedure
  • Assist Physicians with Procedures
  • Coordinate daily operations and ensure a smooth workflow and efficient work atmosphere
  • Assist in directing operations to assure compliance with all regulatory agencies and hospital requirements
  • Continuously assess, measure and improve departmental performance
  • Participate in the responsible management of healthcare resources, including personnel, supplies and equipment
  • Serve as first line contact for Vendors of equipment and supplies for your department
  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the building, phone systems, and equipment
  • Maintain an effective schedule and revise as necessary to retain a minimal waiting period on exams
  • Responsible for the effective and complete orientation of training of new employees, complete competency's and participates in annual review with Department Director
  • Will work with Department Director on budgetary, employee development, constructions, expansions and interdepartmental processes

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Certified or eligible for certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in adult echocardiography (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
  • BLS Certification
