Together. Every day. CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager II to join our Power & Manufacturing - Generation & Energy Management Team at our office in Parsippany, NJ. YOUR IMPACT CHA is a leader in sustainable district energy, power and thermal generation systems. Our approach includes critical systems that are maintainable and operable with redundant, fail-safe backups. Our expertise encompasses gas turbines, steam turbines, reciprocating engines, gas plants, biomass plants, coal-fired boiler plants, chiller plants, high-voltage substation, and more. From the early stages of master planning and permitting through comprehensive detailed design, we partner with our clients to create solutions that provide reliable, sustainable energy. The Senior Project Manager in this position brings significant Energy, HVAC, and central plant design experience and can lead projects from concept design through full construction-ready documents. They will work closely with our design teams to complete complex projects within the scope, budget, and schedule. CHA's involvement in these projects encompasses various levels of energy auditing, load modeling, initial concept design through detailed design, construction administration, commissioning, and M&V. This key role is responsible for proposal development based on our client's needs and requests, coordinating contracts with our clients and subcontractors, obtain purchase orders and daily correspondence, and all project financial metrics. The Senior Project Manager must provide advanced engineering judgment and analysis techniques for the design development and management of various energy conservation and subsequent design projects. They are responsible for planning, scheduling, managing and coordinating detailed phases of a project independently, and must also be capable of directing engineering teams assigned to their project and leading the day-to-day activity of a team working on their project. The professional in this role would also work with and mentor junior staff members and provide technical reviews of their work as needed. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required; Master's Degree preferred
SALARY RANGE: $138,000 - $177,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
