Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Professional/Research/Manager Casual for New Ventures.
The Office for Research's mission is to support the research, scholarship, and creative endeavors of all Rutgers faculty. The Office accomplishes its mission by convening with academic and research leaders, providing integrated, user-focused resources, services, and tools, and partnering with faculty.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Assists the commercialization funding team with review process, funds release, collecting progress and final reports, and analyzing program outcomes data. Aide benchmarking activities for continuous improvement.
- Assists with collection and organization of documents needed to enroll the experts in the commercialization funding programs, track and manage honoraria payments for mentors, reviewers and industry advisors associated with the programs, and assist with recordkeeping and maintain current NDAs as needed.
- Helps with the planning and execution of new initiatives, including but not limited to, new entrepreneurial support programs like Lab-to-Market: Tech Commercialization Fundamentals digital micro credentialing, and maintenance and updating of program records.
- Handles other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in STEM or business field).
- Three (3) years of experience in project and/or program management; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

- Data analyses, program development, design, and evaluating program performance against objectives.

- Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of organization, including senior leadership.
