Role Overview As a Talent Management Intern at MRA, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of creative, technical, and team-oriented projects that support key business initiatives. Focusing on recruiting and reference and background checks, your contributions will play a crucial role in advancing our success and enhancing member value. This internship will provide you with broad exposure to various MRA lines of business and allow you to interact with a wide range of business professionals across the organization. Responsibilities
- Project Work: Assist with and contribute to creative, technical, and strategic projects within assigned departments.
- Recruiting Services
- Assist with administrative tasks related to the recruitment lifecycle. This includes, but is not limited to: job posting, resume review, interview scheduling, onboarding paperwork preparation, and new hire and exit survey management.
- Gain an understanding of our company's ATS, JazzHR, support data integrity initiatives and enhance homepage content.
- Learn and apply job posting creation best practices for member positions.
- Assist Recruiting Business Partners with sourcing or screening as needed
- Contribute to employment branding projects including social media strategy, onboarding programs, and development programs.
- RBI (Reference & Background Investigations):
- Process background check reports including academic verifications, employment verifications, and employment references.
- E-mail, print & mail disclosures & consumer reports
- Complete additional side projects as required.
- Professional Interaction: Network with business professionals and gain insights into various functions within the organization. This includes participation in the MRA Intern Leadership Program.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within teams, contributing ideas and supporting project goals.
Qualifications
- Work Schedule: available at least 16 hours a week (20-35 hours a week preferred during the summer, and 20-30 hours preferred during the fall). Duration: June 2025-August 2025
- Education: Currently pursuing or recent graduate with an associate degree in related studies.
- Skills: able to perform at a high level of productivity with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in all Microsoft products specifically: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn new technologies and systems.
- Attributes: Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to different roles and tasks as needed.
