JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Penn State Department of Chemical Engineering is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University Park campus in Dr. Andrew Zydney's lab. The Postdoctoral candidate would be working on a variety of projects involving the application of membrane technology for the purification of high value biological products, including both monoclonal antibodies and gene therapies. Ideal candidates should have a background in membrane science with experience in bioseparations. A Ph.D. is required. Additional Information: This is a term appointment, funded for one year from date of hire, with the possibility of renewal. Renewal is dependent on availability of funds, the successful candidate's performance/progress, and their career goals (mentoring plans will be tailored to meet the individual's goals).
