Stony Brook University: Health Sciences: Renaissance School of Medicine: Internal Medicine: Infectious Diseases Location Stony Brook, New York Open Date Oct 28, 2024 Deadline Nov 28, 2024 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description The School of Medicine of Stony Brook University is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician Scientist/Scientist to join our faculty in the Division of Infectious Diseases. This is a full-time academic position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Qualifications PHYSICIAN SCIENTIST: Required Qualifications: MD, DO, MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Board Certified/Eligible in Infectious Diseases. Experience in clinical care and clinical, translational or basic research in the field of Infectious Diseases. Will be responsible for research, patient care and teaching. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated publication and active funding track record in clinical, translational, and/or basic research is preferred. The ideal candidate will have exhibited a strong commitment to advancing scientific knowledge of the field of Infectious Diseases, as well as demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical, educational, and academic excellence.
