Position Title: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Intern
Location: Hybrid: Remote/Onsite at WGA I ESF Headquarters in Glenview, IL
Supervisor: Lindsay Dresser, Senior Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Term: May - Aug., 2025 (start and end date flexible), 40 hours per week
Compensation: Hourly rate of $15/hour

Job Description
WGA I ESF is seeking Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Intern. This role will have primary accountability to promote a diverse and
inclusive culture in all facets of the organization, including but not limited current Evans Scholars, WGA/ESF Staff, Youth Caddies, Volunteer
Leadership, and Tournaments. The DEI Intern will report to the Senior Director of DEI.

Position
Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to experience a wide range of
responsibilities related to DEI, including:
* Assist in
supporting current Evans Scholars serving on E-Board as VP, DEI
* Oversee monthly staff newsletter
* Coordinate annual Young Women Caddie Summit
* Aid in coordinating panels, DEI workshops, and education sessions with WGA I Staff, WGA Caddie Academies, and Caddie Scholar Prep as needed
* Attend DEI
committee and all-staff meetings
* Review forms and documents to ensure
inclusive language
* Gather and input demographic data as needed
* Assist in creative ideas for leveraging DEI initiatives
* Attend local
championship tournaments as needed
* Participate in additional projects to
support DEI initiatives
Education:
* Pursuing a degree or relevant experience in Communications, Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Management, DEI, or similar field.
* DEI Certification a plus
Knowledge and Skills Required:
* Passion for and
commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an
inclusive environment.
* Demonstrated desire to build a culture of belonging.
Competencies
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Experience with project management
* Effective time management and prioritization skills
* Detail oriented with strong organization and time management skills
* Eagerness to build and maintain effective working relationships
* Strong
interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to
collaborate with diverse teams
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams)
* Willingness to travel to events and
championship sites as needed
