We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Substitute Dishwasher and Server to join our school cafeteria team on a part-time/on-callbasis. This position is essential for ensuring a smooth and efficient meal service for the students. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, work well in a fast-paced environment, and have a positive attitude towards working with youth and staff. Key Responsibilities: Dishwashing Duties: Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Sort, wash, and store dishes and kitchen items efficiently. Ensure all kitchen areas remain clean and organized, following health and safety guidelines. Assist in maintaining inventory of dishwashing supplies. Serving Duties: Help set up and serve meals. Interact positively with students, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Monitor food safety and portion control during service. Assist with cleaning up dining areas post-meal service. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in food service or kitchen work is a plus, but not required. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Work Schedule: Flexible hours based on school schedule and needs. Must be available to work on short notice.
