Under the supervision of the Administrative & Operations Manager, incumbent will provide leadership and direction to all Parking Assistant/Valet staff, Auto Equipment Operators/Shuttle Drivers, oversee all program, policies and procedures. Responsibilities are to oversee and manage the Valet and Parking Operation which includes the 1223 Automated Parking System, Parking Kiosks/Pay stations, the supervision and deployment of personnel as well as other duties as assigned. Parking Assistant Supervisor/Valet will enforce all departmental and Institutional policies and guidelines, work department schedules, performance evaluations, conducting staff interviews, making sure that HR competencies and tracking is up to date, provide any training as required, and will ensuring that the shuttles maintenance/inspections are up to date. The supervisor will also manage/oversee that cash reports are conducted timely as per UC Standards. Incumbent will need to possess the ability to communicate well with Senior Leadership/Hospital Administration, attend meetings as required, and must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license.

Salary Range $63,800 - $127,000 / annually

Qualifications
  • Possess and maintain current California Drivers License.
  • Ability to see aspects of public relations in all facts of the job and the ability to understand the effects of actions on the entire organization.
  • Ability to recognize the importance of dealing diplomatically with the public and the importance of a good public appearance.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with employees and coworkers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to assess problematic or emergency situations and plan/execute an appropriate solution based on established guidelines and or policies.
  • Ability to clearly express ideas using appropriate vocabulary and spelling.
  • Ability to relay information in writing or verbally while maintaining professionalism.
  • Ability to make decisions in resolving issued independently.
  • Ability to prioritize calls and daily functions.

Position is subject
to the California DMV's "Pull Notice System" and continued employment
is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record.
