About the Position

Position Description

The Senior Business Analyst facilitates the new service line and innovation development process managed by UNOS Solutions. The Senior Business Analyst closely collaborates with staff at all levels in the organization, external partners/vendors and potential clients/customers to test and launch revenue-generating and margin-producing offerings. Strong candidates bring creativity, customer focus, strong writing skills, market research experience, and exceptional organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluation of Opportunities and Innovation

  • Review ideas for new services, products, and innovation to identify potential customers and value proposition, collaborating closely with the Portfolio Strategy Manager as well as internal and external subject matter experts to define the concept.
  • Support business decision-making through assembling customer insights, competitive intelligence and market information about new potential products or service lines.
  • Engage diverse internal teams, including Business Development, Research, Technology, General Counsel, and Finance to draft business concept documents for review by department and senior leadership.
  • Partner with the Portfolio Strategy Manager through the Service Line and Innovation Development Process, preparing deliverables and organizing information about key business questions for evaluation.
  • Ensure that delivered materials are timely and of high quality.
  • Oversee cross-functional implementation team for concepts approved and prioritized for development and testing.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management or cross-functional team leadership experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience working with in healthcare, healthcare administration, business administration, health informatics, or related experience required.

Critical Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to synthesize complex information to develop business intelligence using a variety of tools and databases
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, as well as proficient time management and budgeting abilities required
  • Work experience in a collaborative team-oriented environment strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently.
  • Experience in organ transplantation or related healthcare field desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

Education

  • 4-year degree project management, business administration or related field of study, or equivalent work experience
