Brown and Caldwell has an immediate opening for a Sr Associate Environmental Engineer or Civil Engineer to join our Permitting and Compliance team based in Boise, Idaho. We are seeking a motivated, achievement-oriented individual who is actively engaged in environmental engineering in support of multi-media permitting and operational compliance primarily in Idaho. This person can help us fulfill our commitment to deliver client success on each and every project we undertake. You will work with nationally recognized, senior technical staff, as well as have the responsibility to supervise junior staff. We are looking for a candidate with strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines. This role offers a chance to mentor and lead more junior technical staff while making a significant impact on environmental management and regulatory compliance. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include technical support, project delivery and engagement with environmental engineering in support permitting and compliance clients (both private sector and municipal). Occasional travel may be required. In this role, you will take the lead in managing and delivering environmental permitting and compliance projects for both public and private sector clients. Your focus will be on stormwater management, spill prevention, and operational regulatory compliance, with opportunities to contribute to business development initiatives and cultivate strong client relationships. Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.
