Job Summary

Coordinate functions associated with assigned educational programs involving GT students studying abroad. Such programs vary in content and location. However, this position is typically responsible for supporting program marketing and promotional efforts, advising students regarding program content and conditions and providing related administrative support. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: program participants and prospective participants, vendors, Office of International Education staff, GT financial personnel, Registrar's Office. This position typically will advise and counsel: program participants and prospective participants. This position will supervise: NA.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Facilitate marketing and recruiting efforts designed to attract prospective students for participation in assigned program. May include development of marketing materials.

Job Duty 2 -
Serve as an information source regarding program content, location and other factors.

Job Duty 3 -
Liaise with overseas universities and institutions regarding various aspects of program planning and implementation.

Job Duty 4 -
Coordinate student travel and accommodations requirements at locations abroad.

Job Duty 5 -
Develop/conduct program orientation for students.

Job Duty 6 -
Provide ongoing advice to students regarding various aspects of program participation.

Job Duty 7 -
Assist students in application process and related enrollment procedures.

Job Duty 8 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience
Three to four years of job related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in a foreign language is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
This job requires working knowledge of international education program administration and familiarity with culture and living conditions within host country. Additionally skill in foreign travel management, program marketing and customer service is required.
