The Sacramento office of SmithGroupis looking for aConstruction Admin Coordinatorto join our team.

Responsibilities include:



  • Receiving and triagingsubmittals and RFI's from Contractors and Consultants.
  • Logging data into TonicDMdatabase.
  • Managing the flow of information between the owner, contractor and AE team during the CA process.
  • Coordinating submissions of Amended Construction Documents to OSPHD, DSA or other AHJ's.
  • Manageing documents in Bluebeam Studio.
  • Other duties as assigned by Project Manager.
  • Travel to jobsite one day per week.
  • Managing Certificates of Insurance (COI's).
  • Creating and Editing AIA contracts.



We are looking for:



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Word and Excel.
  • Proficency in Bluebeam Studio.
  • 1-5 years of professional construction administration/ management or architectural experience.
  • Proficiency in TonicDM, Prolog Construction, Autodesk Construction Cloud, eBuilder, Procore or other construction management software.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with Construction Administration process.
  • Ability to set priorities, multitask and work independently and collaboratively under strict deadlines.
  • Revit proficiency strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in AIA contract Catina Platform.
  • Undergraduate degree in Architecture or Construction Management a plus.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.



SmithGroup's competitive compensation and benefit package is designed meet the needs of a diverse staff. The anticipated salary range for this position is $31.25 to $37.50 hourly, at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for this position. Additionally, an employee in this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus on an annual basis.
