Here's what you'll do:

  • Operate & Troubleshoot: Set up, operate, and maintain our advanced printing equipment while ensuring optimal performance.
  • Color Matching Pro: Accurately match printing colors to specific targets for vibrant, high-quality output.
  • Quality Control Expert: Review printed cups for quality variations and perform rigorous quality checks on press proofs.
  • Data Documentation: Document testing results and provide detailed reports to improve our processes.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct general and preventive maintenance to keep our equipment running smoothly.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work with engineers to test new print ideas and improve production efficiency.
  • Mentor & Lead: Guide and mentor fellow technicians, fostering a supportive team environment.

What you will bring:

  • Requires one of the following:
    • Associate's degree with an emphasis in a printing or mechanical equipment and processes program and one (1) year of printing or mechanical equipment and processes experience, OR
    • High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of printing or mechanical equipment and processes experience
  • Proficiency in using powered and manual hand tools such as wrench, hammer, screwdriver, etc.
  • Excellent color matching ability required
  • Prior experience troubleshooting and repairing production tooling and equipment and testing equipment
  • Ability to understand production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of products
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • This position will require ~35% of travel
