The Y team leverages data science and machine learning to combat global fraud, protecting individuals, businesses, and financial institutions from threats ranging from individuals to multinational crime rings. As a Staff Data Scientist, you'll play an integral role in designing state-of-the-art machine learning systems, contribute to organization strategy, help grow junior scientists, and be a leader in a data driven organization. You'll collaborate across disciplines-including engineering, analytics, product, design, and operations-to build solutions that stay ahead in a fast-evolving fraud prevention landscape. About the Role We are seeking a Staff Data Scientist to drive data-driven decision-making and insights across the organization as well as help design a large scale, state-of-the-art machine learning pipeline. You'll research, design, and implement data science solutions with a team of data scientists to address complex business challenges, contributing to the development of innovative fraud detection systems. The pay range for this full-time position is $189,100.00 - $317,690.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
