The Endodontics advanced education program is designed to prepare a dentist for a career in clinical endodontics, research and teaching. The overall goal is to educate dentists to become competent clinical endodontists who will serve the public and the profession at a high level of excellence. It stresses the importance of knowledge and skills in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases associated with the dental pulp and related periapical tissues.

Job Description

The University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Dentistry seeks to hire a ranked, non-tenure-track Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Endodontics. The faculty member will provide classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction for pre-doctoral students. Candidate will create and deliver lecture presentations for didactic and laboratory classes. They will also teach endodontics to pre-doctoral students in the Dental School main clinic on a daily basis. Bilingual fluency/conversant is an asset.

This is a 12-month, full-time, benefit-eligible, ranked non-tenure track faculty position. Opportunity for ranked promotion is provided.

Qualifications

* Candidates should have a DMD/DDS degree or equivalent

* Advanced training in Endodontics

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary and rank will be commensurate with credentials, education and experience.
