Who we are looking for:

ASCO is in search of an experienced Oracle Cloud Technical Lead to partner with Information Technology leadership and be responsible for the technical success of Oracle Cloud implementations, focusing on financial modules, and ensuring adherence to industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of ERP systems and developing solutions to support robust financial workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Technical Director for Finance, to design and build technology solutions to achieve more efficient business operation and management within the established Financial System architecture and ASCO digital ecosystem.
  • Manage a team of Oracle Fusion developers, providing planning, guidance, and support.
  • Ability to mentor, grow, and train others in Oracle Fusion applications.
  • Manage the Oracle Fusion roadmap and lifecycle.
  • Lead the high-level design, development, definition, and implementation of Oracle Fusion applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards for financial solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design technical solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for Oracle Fusion modules including Financials, SCM.
  • Oversee the integration of Oracle Fusion applications with other systems and platforms.
  • Ensure the stability, performance, and security of Oracle Fusion applications through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
  • Manage project timelines and resources effectively to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
  • Understand the business requirements of RICE objects, translate them to technical requirements, and lead the technical team for development of the same.
  • Manage technical design workshops and the development of RICE objects.
  • Prepare high-level integration design and architecture documents.
  • Stay up to date on the latest enhancements in Oracle Cloud infrastructure and modules.
  • Proactive technical troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Develop and implement integrations with other systems
  • Communication and stakeholder management, cross-team collaboration

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent years of experience and training
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in software development
  • Proven experience managing technical teams and leading Oracle Fusion projects from inception to completion
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion architecture, data models, and integration technologies.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Fusion development tools such as Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle ADF, Oracle SOA Suite, and Oracle BI Publisher
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Oracle Fusion certifications
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with database management and proper systems security best practices.
  • Familiarity with IAM, CRM, and other data systems
  • Experience with Serverless computing (AWS SAM models preferred)
  • Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Understanding of Cloud Security best practices

ADA/Physical Requirements

Extended periods seated or standing at a desk.

High use of computer and other office technology equipment.
