Pep Boys | Diversity Employer
One hundred years ago, Navy buddies with a passion for cars set out to make a living. In the process, they helped invent the automotive aftermarket - driven by the belief that the key to business is always doing right by your customer.
Manny, Moe and Jack are a big part of the story, but there are thousands of others, who also went further for their customers and communities, to thank for Pep Boys’ success. Let’s take a road trip through the decades and check out the people and cultural changes that forged a brand lasting a century and counting. The year is 1921. The place: Philadelphia. Learn More
Today a dramatic change is already in motion. More vehicles are on the road driving more miles than ever, the average age of the car keeps steadily increasing, electric & hybrid cars are here, self-driving cars are on the horizon, and technology has made cars more complicated to repair. Technology has also changed the expectations of our experiences, and digital investments are fundamentally changing how we connect with customers.
Pep Boys is expanding its service footprint with strategic acquisitions in key markets.
Many of the vehicles on the road are now part of fleets, with some even doing double duty as people drive for rideshare or delivery services such as Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash. In the future, every vehicle could be part of a "fleet," and the need for convenient service will continue to grow. We're also continuing our commitment to the military.
