DevOps Engineer

Responsible for coordinating various teams to create and maintain an organization’s software. Serve as a bridge between IT operations and software development, oversee code updates, and develop strategic plans to implement projects.

• Plan, create, and test the codebase for new features or products.
• Collaborate with other engineers to identify pain points and areas for improvement.
• Automate tasks wherever possible to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Monitor systems for issues and investigate and resolve any incidents that occur.
• Keep up to date with the latest developments in DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Write documentation to help other teams understand the DevOps process and its benefits.
• Assess risk, set operational expectations, analyze costs and benefits, and develop project plans.
• Conduct system administration to maintain a company’s computer servers and networks.
• Review system logs to spot and tackle anomalies, hacking attempts, and errors.
• Oversee projects and encourage communication between software developers, users, and IT. 
• Optimize an organization’s infrastructure security by designing practices and systems.
