The Operating Room nurse will be scrub and circulate for all orthopedic cases at the Surgery Center. The surgical scrub (RN Surgical Scrub), functions as an integral part of the surgical team. The RN Surgical Scrub possesses expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic technique and combines the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, equipment, tools, and technologies to facilitate a physician's performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. This is a part-time, 0.75 FTE position based at our Vadnais Heights Surgery Center. Must be flexible to float to other Summit surgery centers as needed. 8-hour shifts with a rotating schedule. Summit's hiring range for this position is $39.44 to $52.65 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation. Bachelors of Nursing (preferred)
Associates of Nursing (required) Experience
Minimum of 6 months of Operating Room (Scrubbing and Circulating) experience required. Orthopedic and/or pain management experience is preferred. (required)
Licenses & Certifications
