Job Description

The UMKC School of Medicine is seeking a part-time faculty member for the UMKC Master of Science in Anesthesia program.

The experienced clinician educator will collaborate with existing faculty to implement an array of teaching and student evaluation strategies in the classroom and clinical training facility. This will include ensuring delivery of content consistent with ARC-PA accreditation standards.

Additional duties include student academic advising, professional development, admission and curriculum committee activities, and participation in the program's ongoing self-study, accreditation, assessment, continuous improvement processes.

This is a part-time, non-benefit eligible, academic position. Approximate hours per week ranges from 12 to 20 hours (.30 to .50 FTE).

Qualifications

Minimum requirements for this position include graduation from an accredited PA program, hold or working toward a Master's degree, and current NCCPA-certification. Previous teaching experience is desirable.
