Utilize your expertise to make a difference in the community as a Family Engagement Manager with our Venice Family Clinic. With guidance and direction from the Early Head Start Director, this role will be responsible for meeting all Head Start Performance Standards and the State's Child Development Division (CDD) regulations for our Venice Family Clinic's Early Head Start Program's Family Child Care and Center Based option. The Family Engagement Manager will also be responsible for the program's State CDD childcare contract.

Note this position is a full-time limited appointment for 5.5 months, and may convert to career.

Salary range: $26.10 - $49.38 Hourly

Qualifications

Required:

  • California State Director's Permit.
  • Knowledge of human development , and the ability to recognize problems in the area of social service needs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, ability to gather and analyze information and make concise, accurate reports and recommendations.
  • Ability to exercise professional judgment, and maintain all information in strict confidentiality.
  • Interpersonal skills; the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents, staff, and other agencies.
  • Knowledge of Head Start/Early Head Start or other comparable early childhood development programs.
