Position Summary The Center for Cancer Cell Biology, Immunology, and Infection at the Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor (Tenure Track). New members of the Center will join a highly successful and collaborative group of investigators that apply diverse and innovative approaches to understand better mechanisms of inflammation, microbial pathogenesis, and the immune response to infection and cancer. The successful candidate will be expected to establish an independent, extramurally funded research program that complements and extends the Center's current strengths in host-pathogen interactions, immune-mediated diseases, and cancer. Our university encourages and provides opportunities for collaboration with researchers in other Centers. https://www.rosalindfranklin.edu/research/centers/ The successful applicant will have an academic appointment in the Discipline of Microbiology and Immunology, where they will teach in the medical and graduate programs. They are also expected to mentor graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and other trainees and provide institutional service. Start-up packages and salaries are competitive and commensurate with experience. Who We Are Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) is a graduate-level health sciences university on an 85-acre campus in North Chicago, IL.
