The Respiratory Care Student Intern must be enrolled in the second of a two-year RC program accredited by the AMA.Student Interns shall be knowledgeable and proficient in performance of all basic Respiratory Care procedures and protocols including (but not limited to) IPPB, chest physiotherapy, aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, pulmonary screens, pulse oximetry and the set-up and use of a variety of monitoring systems. Interns will be working under direct supervision of a Critical Care Respiratory Therapist.
