Summary:

In this role, you will serve as the organization's Compliance Director and be the subject matter expert related to Vizient's compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). You will support leadership's efforts to ensure effective development and implementation of general compliance programs (including HIPAA), and developing compliance training programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review current compliance programs for enhancements.

  • Update and develop training programs for employees to ensure compliance.

  • Manage the HIPAA attestation process during the annual SOC 2 assessments conducted by an outside audit firm.

  • Provide recommendations to business units and develop new corporate policies related to HIPAA compliance.

  • Review and revise contract and business associate agreement language.

  • Update the annual HIPAA risk management assessment.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience is required.

  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance program management.

  • Experience in a healthcare compliance setting, with an emphasis on HIPAA regulations.

  • Deep understanding of service management principles, client relations, and operational best practices.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments at all levels of an organization (including executive management and the Board of Directors).

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $146,700.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
