Applied Language Institute (ALI)

Job Description

Teach English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses in ALI's intensive English program and/or community English program with the possibility of teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses in ALI's short-term program for visiting international students.

Part-time, non-benefit eligible unranked non tenure track position. Appointment period is for the semester with consideration for reappointment. Hours vary from 10 to 20/week, depending on classes available.

Qualifications

A Master's degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

International, post-secondary, and 2+ years of English language teaching and learning experience is beneficial.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Commensurate on education, experience, and internal equity.
