Job Description

The Department of Political Science and Philosophy at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is seeking qualified candidates for an adjunct instructor position. The intent of this announcement is to identify adjunct instructors who are qualified to deliver undergraduate courses in Political Science and Philosophy.

Part-time, non-benefit eligible unranked non tenure track position. Appointment period is for the semester with consideration for reappointment. Hours will be approximately 10 to 20/week, depending on classes.

Qualifications

Adjunct instructors should have a minimum of a master's degree in Political Science or Philosophy, or advanced degree in an area related to Political Science or Philosophy.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity.
