PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The PT Transcriptionist captions/transcribes verbal communication in real-time with specialized technology in a variety of settings (class, labs, meetings, formal events) for students, faculty, staff, administration, and/or visitors to LSC, who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing in order to maintain institutional compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
