SCOPE OF WORK:The Workforce Job Developer collaborates with the Economic Empowerment team, Adult Education team, and Match Grant specialist to provide opportunities for employment, trainings and more for qualifying IRC clients. The Workforce Job Developer is often working closely with new and existing external partners to provide services to IRC clients and ensure external partner satisfaction.
Tips to Consider: * Update the RescueJobs app when needed with updated partner data. * Insert partner job openings on RescueJobs as they become available. * Sit in on partner meetings and collect information about training opportunities. * Attend bi-weekly check-ins with employment specialists. * Conduct research on potential new partners. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: * The intern will learn how to effectively manage data insertion and data retrieval. * The intern will learn how to effectively establish and upkeep partnerships. * The intern will learn how to effectively filter appropriate partnerships and employers for the organization.
* Minimum age: at least 18 years or older, minimum a sophomore or rising sophomore in College/University * Study experience in international affairs, global studies, communications, or a similar field is preferred. * MUST be able to work in a hybrid environment. * Must be willing to work varied hours. * Basic computer skills (Microsoft applications and E-mail) * Ability to work well with people of diverse cultural backgrounds. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Advanced or fluency in English is required. * Must be able to take directions and work independently when needed.
