The Land Agent II/III/IV responsibilities include but arenot limited to:
- Identify and locate surface and gas estate ownership, analyze, interpret, prepare, negotiate and acquire Midstream Agreements, Right of Ways and other surface related contracts.
- Ability to prepare, analyze and read landman title, assemble and analyze oil and gas data and maps, identify potential pad sites and right of way locations and conduct pre-construction investigation and planning activities.
- Management of our contractors to ensure surface projects are moving in a timely manner and meeting deadlines while staying on budget.
- Work closely with surveying, permitting and construction personnel, evaluate, negotiate, and settle damage claims.
- Work with attorneys and third-party companies as needed to complete projects on time and within budget.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 5-7 years in a similar role.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, desired.
- Working knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
- Ability to problem solve and provide solutions.
- Must be self-motivated and organized with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and manage work time efficiently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint as well as Adobe Acrobat, with the ability to learn additional software applications.
- Must have outstanding interpersonal skills and demonstrate tact and a professional demeanor in dealing with all levels of personnel.
- Strong drive to seek innovative ways to perform better, faster and more efficiently.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience with GIS, SmartSheet, Quorum, Salesforce, PowerBI is preferred, but not required
- Experience with or general knowledge of pipeline construction and reclamation practices preferred
Applicants should reside in the Ohio/PA/WV project areas as field work will be required.
