Requirements

    Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of work-related experience or a Master's degree and 3 years work related experience in a relevant technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be eligible for CSWF IAT II (Security+ Min, CISSP Preferred)
  • Valid ACAS training certificate and prior VRAM experience
  • Familiar with RMF Guidelines and standards
  • Experience with ACAS on RDTE and standalone systems
  • Top Secret clearance


Desired Skills

  • Experience with ENS/ESS

  • Experience with multiple OSs and virtual environments



Description

In support of the DoD Readiness Reporting System-AFLOAT Project at NIWC Atlantic, this candidate will utilize their expertise in cyber security to provide vulnerability mitigation recommendations for readiness reporting systems such as IRRI and ARRS.

  • Reporting to either St. Julien's Creek or Norfolk Naval Base daily - no remote work authorized.
  • Performing regular vulnerability assessments of readiness reporting systems to identify and mitigate known security vulnerabilities
  • Providing recommendations and feedback with Cyber personnel such as ISSO, ISSE, ISSM, and NQV
  • Providing support on ships - sometimes utilizing ladder wells and narrow passageways
