We are seeking an Occupancy Planning Lead for a Global account, responsible for managing a regional team. This role reports to the Global Occupancy Planning Lead and partners closely with the client's Regional Real Estate team and other JLL service leads to successfully provide strategic and tactical occupancy planning services that addresses the growing and diverse needs of the client. The manager also serves as the single point of contact for quality control in terms of consistency in planning processes, procedures, and protocols. This position requires strong relationship management skills, knowledge of industry best practices and occupancy trends, and experience with strategic planning.
Deliverable Role / Responsibilities Translate client's business requirements and successfully deliver global occupancy and strategic planning services utilizing firm and industry best practices. Build strong relationships with Corporate Real Estate, HR reps, and BU leads to gather top-down headcount and growth projections. Lead programming sessions with BU leads globally to gather business vision and requirements. Collaborate with Project Management, Facility Management, and Transactions on scenario development and evaluation, business case development, and budget approvals. Partner with Relocation Project Management and Facility Management teams to review and approve moves, develop migration plans, and conduct facility audits. Measure, monitor, and report cost-savings and value-added contributions. Oversee occupancy tracking and allocation processes, monitor utilization, and regular and ad hoc reporting requests. Act as a single point of contact for annual charge-back and Intercompany Agreement calculations working directly with Corp Finance. Support the client's Real Estate Team in developing and deploying new technology to enhance Employee experience (reservation system, communications) and track utilization (attendance dashboards), working with Corp IT and third-party vendors. Support the client in designing their new ways of working and provide benchmark and best practices on the topic. Collaborate with other Regional Occupancy Planning Leads, Tech Planning, and SDI team to ensure consistency of delivery and alignment of goals and objectives across the Occupancy Planning & Management team. Leadership/Staff Management Manage, and mentor a Regional OP team dedicated to the account. Provide excellent onboarding, training, and team-building Actively support an environment of teamwork, cooperation, performance excellence, and personal success Participate in the individual performance management program and personal development planning for members of the team Act as an ambassador for JLL, adopting and maintaining the firm's core values of Teamwork, Ethics and Excellence Support the development and implementation of innovations, best practices, and standard operating procedures to elevate team, account, and performance Education / Years of Experience Bachelor's degree in architecture, Real Estate, Planning, Interior Design, Construction Management or equivalent 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in managing occupancy, space, move management, strategic planning, and change management processes across a broad geography in a remote and virtual environment Knowledge and Skills Proficiency with MS suite. Expert-level data analytical skills and mastery of Excel Critical thinking skill sets and the ability to tell a story through data Excellent communication skills including active listening, verbal, written, and visual, and the ability to engage at all levels of leadership from administrative to executive level.] Ability to work independently, solve problems and navigate through ambiguity Possess a proactive mindset and contribute as the leader of the occupancy planning team Experience developing strategic plans, business cases, and leading executive presentations. Experience with implementing flex office, hoteling, developing design guidelines, and leading alternative workplace solutions and change management programs. Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture systems. CAFM system and AutoCAD experience is required. Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed |
